Well not many people liked pro street but i thought it was quite good you should check it out and i heared Carbon is ment to be the best Nfs on next gen consoles so i'de go with Carbon :D

Carbon is horrible. Most Wanted is really chepa and the best NFS after the Undergrounds. Pro Street is fun. Quite hard at times, but good. Haven't played Undercover since it's called abysmal. I'd like to hear more about it.

Most wanted is the best then the rest went down hill. there is also undercover if u didn't know there was a new game or something.

Basically go in the order they were released, as that is also the order of best to worst. Most Wanted is the best NFS since the Underground games. Open world city with plenty of chases and avoiding the cops. My main criticism of this was that the police chases required near the end of the game got excessively long, and after completing a 1 hour escape I really didn't feel like doing it again for the next MW rank. Carbon was similar, had crashbreakers around the city to help evading the cops, and I quite liked this version despite it being widely regarded as worse than MW. Prostreet - just isn't NFS. For some weird reason while all other racing games were moving from circuit racing to open world, EA decided to go the opposite way, and turned this NFS into a circuit racer, and attempted to give the cars realistic handling. It largely failed on all accounts, providing a too arcadey feel for sim racers, and too sim for arcade racers. As a game in its own right it was OK once you got used to it, but it just wasn't anything like what you'd expect from a NFS game. The next game planned - NFS Shift - is sadly going to be more similar to Prostreet - closed circuit real world race tracks with realistic cars and handling. Fine for people wanting another racing sim, but crap for NFS fans who would much rather see a return to the Underground or Most Wanted days. :(
