Assassin's Creed LE, $70. I have beaten it on a rental, though. I can easily replay it and ENJOY it, I thought it was great. BF: Bad Company, $20. I think it's cool that you have the life "gadget", and the knife. I like how it's a map with missions, and you don't feel you're closed at all. Dead Space, $30. Played the demo, I love the interface and the "dismemberment". Armor kicks ass as well. All of the F.E.A.R games. I just love the action in this game, and I would think this is my favorite FPS online.
Not Assassin's Creed. Though I love that game, 2 is coming out soon and the first isn't worth $70. Bad Company would be a good choice, it's fun online and great single player. Haven't played Dead Space but it looks really good, and $30 is a good deal. I've got F.E.A.R Files and they're great, and I really want F.E.A.R 2, also a good deal. I'd say get Bad Company and Dead Space, then maybe 1 or 2 F.E.A.R games, then save up for the next.
Dead Space and FEAR are quality, ive got them both (for PC mind) and are very good, i also own Assasins Creed but its absolute rubbish imo, far too repetitive and dull

If you buy Dead Space ( i reccomend you do) DO play it at night and with the sound up, and if you play with headphones then its even better, its a hell of a scary game, im not easilly scared by games but this scares the hell out of me, i woke up my mother due to screaming during a jumpy scene, true story lol
If you really think you could replay Assassin's Creed, get it; I honestly loved that game to pieces, but replaying any segment of it was just sort of dull.
Dead Space is a surefire title for $30. As for FEAR, FEAR 2 is the game with strong online, so get that if you're not getting Creed.
