which one should Rockband 2 band pack or guitar hero world tour band pack

well my birthdays sunday and my parents wanna know which one i want guitar hero world tour band pack or rockband 2 band pack so i dont know can anyone help me out on which ones better

As stated on IGN, Guitar hero has more good songs, but Rock band has less BAD songs.

IMO get guitar hero, the music studio was the icebreaker for me, i imagine there will be a number of tutorials going up on how to replicate popular songs in it. Plus you can mess about with friends if you want :)

Rock Band seems more like a glorified update + track pack, they didn't add anything new, and one of the major selling points is that all the songs from the original can be played on the sequel, fine, but hardly worth all the fuss that people have been on about.

Also, Rock band has had a fairly bad history of equipment, whereas guitar hero seems more reliable, i can't confirm how good it is, but just to let you know.

I'm not a guitar hero fanboy, i just think it's the better game to pay full price for, i;ll get RB when it's FINALLY released here in the UK...but it's not high on my list right now

RB2. Better set-list, 500 songs for DLC by christmas, Better drums, better graphics and animations(both dont look great)C-Lee

This is what i don't get. I've looked at ALL the DLC, and i've picked around 10-15 songs to download, the others don't appeal so I will probbably never get them. So yeah, it has 500 DLC songs, but there will be almost nobody who will really use that.
