how will you place your 360 in your entertainment set up? I'll probably have it laying down since all my other stuff is already the same way....are there any advantages to having the system on it's side? I might would consider sitting it up if there were but I don't think I'll have room for that anyway

You can't really stack anything ontop of it because of the wierd design. Vertical is better for me, it saves shelf space, I'll place it somewhere close to my TV - which isn't a HDTV unfortunately :(
horizontal for me, not only is putting disc's in a vertical tray annoying, but i've got the space for it, it'll go where my current xbox is now...hortys_999
you know what be kool if they got a mount for your e-center so u can put it on it side out side of the center hanging on the side.. but it mite fall but if the mount is good i wouldnt mind..
with a computer, tv, bed, couch, 100+ books (oh thats right, i read) and mini fridge, i don't have a lot of room, so i am going perpendicular to the floor, or vertical if you will, or in laymen terms, its gonna be standing up
i have major OCD so i must do standing up becuase the power button is made to look standing up, also its the perfect size for this missing space i have besides my tv

im not sure yet. probably lying down....no standing up erm i dont know.
remember what happened having the ps2 vertically? people across the world were having laser lights buring out issues. i think i'll put mine horizontal, but i'm not sure.

well i have had my ps2 for about 3 years and the only time it had a problem is when i broke the controller port from yanking the controller so hard. got it fixed for $60. other than that, my ps2 was just fine.
you know, I figured this was an original topic but I didn't think it would go on this long....looks like those that are laying it sideways are the overwhelming majority
alright it's time to bring this thread back to life. I have my 360 vertical and it seems fine and looks great although i've heard that it makes more noise vertical and scratches your discs when you move it- so just don't move it idiots
Right now its standing up because it isn't in an entertainment tower, its just on a cool flat surface. When i get my entertainment tower i'll put it in there lying down.
