Which should I buy: Mass Effect 2 or Fallout 3 GotY?

I have a 360 and I'm only planning to get one of them. I've never played a Fallout game before, but I have played Mass Effect 1 before and enjoyed it immensely, may I add. I've heard of the Mass Effect 2 technical issue where the font is hard to read for people on standard definition televisions, so I'm a bit worried whether or not I can read the text, as I am playing on a 32 inch SDTV.

Is the text really that hard to read, or are people just exaggerating? Also, if the text is unreadable, does it just ruin the whole feel of the game? Or just at certain times.

Buy Fallout 3 GOTY because of the replay value and the fact that it is an open world and has hundreds of hours that can be sunk into it.

I say Fallout 3 because I literally have 2 saves with at least 200 hours each on them, but Mass Effect is an EXTREMELY good game with at least 30-40 hours on it easily. Depends on your taste in RPGs. Fallout is an open world FPSRPG, when Mass Effect 2 is a TPSRPG that is kinda linear.

Two different type of games, though Fallout is better in my opinion.
