 The single player, yes. But what is so strategic about running up to everyone with a shotgun in MP. Seriously, it all ocmes down to the shotgun. As much as people say Halo is for noobs, at least the weapons are mostly balanced and there is more variety.Â

Halo 3.... gears of war is just not as good online... all comes down to strafing with the shotgun.... if geow2 has alot of new weapons that arent useless then i would love to play it
I have to go with Halo 3 because I find Halos multiplayer more diverse and has a lot more variety to it then Gears. I also find the Halo story to be more entertaining then Gears since well in the first Gears it was good only half way through before the story got completely messed up and things started happening with no explanation.
Gears of War all the way, hell I'd rather Gears 1 than all three halo's combined. IMO Halo is for the 12yr. olds and I say let 'em have it, less kids annoying the adults in Gears games over XBL. It's actually kind of funny, if not for the Halo franchise the 360 wouldn't exist but if not for Gears I wouldn't own a 360, makes ya think huh...
