i played assassins creed 2 and found that to be rather boring early in the game but from what i have seen of videos, it does look exciting and worthy of commendation once you get past that. the saboteur looks cool. i was anticipating this game throughout most of last year then it was finally released early last month. if you can imagine syphon filter or max payne but in sandbox, you will have a ball with the saboteur. i enjoyed one of the many videos of the saboteur from off of gamespot hyping the game. the main character the tester played in the game died then stood back up and continued fighting the nazi occupation of paris. he was immortal.

furthermore, which halo should you buy? from my experience of the halo wars demo, it was a thumbs down in my book. i did not feel excited about the demo when i was playing. instead i felt confused about how to play. i was playing command and conquer 3 at the time of the release of the demo so you might understand why i thought halo wars did not win by a mile. command and conquer 3 and despite playing only the halo wars demo, is the better game. do any hardcore halo fans out there think differently about halo wars? is it essential for such a halo fan?

Which Halo? If you want the whole story pick up Halo: Combat Evolved and start there. If you don't care then pick up ODST. It comes with all of Halo 3's dlc maps on disc so you have complete access to all the match making playlists. You're fine with Halo 3 though. A great deal of the playlists don't require any DLC anymore and Halo 3 just got a price drop to thirty bucks so you'll be saving some cash.

I thought it was good. If you played the tutorial I wouldn't see how you could be confused. As for how essential it was, it really depends on how much you care about the Halo story. If all you care about though it the main Halo trilogy's plot then Halo Wars really isn't that important.

Before you run out and buy Assassin's Creed I would rent it cause you can beat it fairly quickly, if you have X-box Live and want a good co-op game i recommend Left 4 Dead 2. If you looking for an RPG i would go with Dragon Age: Origins it was fun and took somewhere from 20-30 hours to beat going through all the explorations. If I were you i would buy Halo: Combat Evolved because out of all the Halo's it had the best story Halo: ODST came close though, as for the other games MW2 has a good online well to sum it all up I recommend : Left 4 Dead 2, Halo: Combat Evolved, Dragon Age: Origins, RENT: Assassin's Creed though

I got my 360 the day after Christmas, and my favorite games have been, in no particular order, Mass Effect and Modern Warfare 2.

This should be on game recco sticky

but for games around 40-70$

I'd say.. Dragon age origins - RPG or wait for mass effect 2

Halo 3 odst

Call of duty modern warfare 2

Left 4 dead 2

The best games for the Xbox 360 is, imo, Eternal Sonata, Skate, Halo 3 and Halo 3: ODST, Bioshock and Gears of War. Make your pick.
