Don't get refurbished. Either the 20gb or the 60gb....20gb is cheaper and has plenty of space, but if you plan on downloading A LOT then get the 60gb.

20gb is only $300 though, good price.

Don't get refurbished and don't get the arcade.

then get whichever one that suits your price. space isn't too much of an issue and since the 60gb model is priced the same as the 20gb's old price, you're getting 3x the space for the 20's older price. so the 60gb's probably the best way to go. not worth paying a lot more for a 120gb/elite for twice the space. i still have tons of space on my 20gb

If you have the money for the best you get the best

Grab the Elite and be done with it

The fact that you'll be able to run games off the hard drive (while keeping the disk in the drive) will allow faster game loads and fix glitches in the games. Right there is enough reason to grab one with the largest hard drive.

If your willing to spend an extra $50, then the 60g version is your best bet, particularly with the upcoming ability to download games directly to the harddrive. I have the 20g pro and I often wish I had a bit more space. If you'd rather save your money then 20g version should be fine. Don't get the arcade, you need the hard drive. The 120g elite seems a bit excessive in my opinion.

I recomend you get the 60g version but the 20g is also a solid choice.
