Which Xbox is best?

Hi, I have a friend who really wants an Xbox 360 and I've helped him look for a good deal. So far we've narrowed our search down to two ideas. The first is just buying a brand new Xbox 360 "Arcade" and then doing the deal M$ is offering where you can buy a refurbished 20 GB hard drive for $20. The second idea is buying a Used"Premium" 360 from eBay. It is $170 with free shipping, but I don't think it has a warranty.

I feel that he should go with the first option, but what do you guys think?

The Elite is the best one. It's has a smexy black finish and a 120GB HDD. The one under it is white with a 20GB HDD. Stay the hell away from the Arcade.PlasmaBeam44

its either the arcade and buy a 20gb hard drive

or a refurbished pro

Go with the Arcade.I recently bought one for a nephew,brand new and very cheap,and then let him have my 20Gb HD from my Pro,cos i bought a 120Gb for mine.

The Arcade is exactly the same inside as even the Pro and Elite,the only difference,being colour and lack of HD.

Pony up the extra $80 and get a 60GB unit... it's not one of your options, but it is the most sensible. Please dont say you cant afford it... if you have $220 to waste on a gaming console, then you're not THAT poor... it may take a little longer to get the extra $80, but it is worth it.

I hardly ever downloaded anything on my old 20GB unit and it was over half full... and then it broke and they gave me a nice 60GB version... nice!
