which xbox live arcade game/s should i buy?

hey guys so i just got some points from best buy and i want to buy some top rated games.

i grabbed bejeweled 2 for 200 ms points from today's sale.

im thinking about buying Fruit ninja kinect, i have trials hd already, i also have shadow complex, spolosionman, uno castle crashers, zombie apocalypse

what should i buy guys?

is super meat really that good?

Yes, Super Meat Boy is a lot of fun, and I am not even into that kind of game. It does get very hard as the levels progress but it is hard in a fun way, not a frustrating way. It is a great value, and it is very deep for a downloadable game. Definitely look into it.

Well the only game I've played from XBLA was super meat boy, but I can help you out based on what I have heard.

If you want a good story I heard that Limbo is good and it really makes you think about it, but it is pretty short only like a 5 hour game.

Castle Crashers has some good hack n slash combat, I heard its a load of fun.

download a bunch of demos. thats the ONLY real way to know whats good enough to buy

i believe crysis 1 came out for 1200 points. but thats probably too much. i really liked battlefield 1942, but the servers eventually got too laggy to play. trials hd was alright. honestly, i cant say if any of these games are on sale, if thats what your looking for, but they're pretty fun nevertheless. some others i can think of on the top of my head, metal slug/

oh these are really great. i downloaded these ones and had a good time. They're FREE TOO

Aegis Wing: top-down pilot game, similar to galaga, but if you get with friends it can be really fun

Harm's Way: racing,shooting type game, multiplayer

Doritos Crash Course: obstacle course, good way to kill time

XBLA offers an embarassment of gaming riches for small prices. Take the advice of another poster and start demoing. My faves:

Geometry Wars: Retro Evolved 2

Shadow Complex

Bastion

Pac-Man Championship Edition DX

Shadow Complex and Limbo for sure.Mega_Hurt

2 freakin amazing games that you might not have thought of are Banjo Kazooie and Banjo Tooie. These honestly are two of my favorite 360 games in general, not just XBLA.

My favs:

Geometry Wars 2 (even my little sister can't get enough)

Toy Soliders 1 and 2

Shadow Complex

Risk

Defense Grid (my fav tower defense game, ever)

Those are what I own. I have demod almost all the top games, most I am hesistant to put $15 towards. Meat Boy for $5 sounds like a steal (I am going to get that one myself tonight). Splosion man, Limbo and vampire smile were all demos on the bubble for me, great looking games I just wasnt totally at buy mode with.

I always recomend demoing the game first.

I've been playing the demo for the mercury game, loving it.. so that's my next purchase, not sure if it's your cup of tea though
