I am really looking forward to resident evil 5, but thats not coming out until summer next year so I will definitely be picking up dead space first. I might rent left 4 dead, cause I wanna play it before I buy it, just to make sure its as good as it looks =PAtreyu606

If the thing doesnt die when I shoot it 5 times with a pistol in the head but instant blows up when I shoot it with a shotgun...its a zombie...;) :P.

Its more of a drugged up and out of there mind mutated zombie thing going on. They might not be technically zombies, but they have similarities. It kind of reminds me of the Dawn Of the Dead remake where the zombies where more active and fast, but there also mutants. Its just lots of fun in the end.

No way Shawn of the Dead is my favorite modern day zombie movie, how can you think that movie is awful!!! Also we should all buy Dead Space just so we can see EA get excited for the sales and schedule 5 straight years of rushed sh*tty sequals!!!!

I'll probably get RE5...i have been playin them since i was a child...I rmmbr bein 9 yrs old playin in my basement by myself(cuz thats where we had r playstation). Whenever i'd play on the weekend till like 3 in the morning i rmmb when i would turn it off n turn the downstairs light off i would run up stairs as fast as possible...lol. I used to have this clock in my basement that would make a choo choo noise every hour on the hour...and everytime at night it would scare the crap out of me for some reason even tho i new it was there.LOL. Another thing I wish they made the first RE movie based on the first game ya...the Chars r dropped in the woods n get chased to the house. A scary movie in a mansion think of the possibilities.JDigital22

Yeah I've been playing the RE series since the first one, they were always fun. RE4 was super fun I beat it like honestly 5 times, so I am really hoping RE5 is even better than the 4th

First of all, Shawn of the Dead is not a remake of Dawn of the dead, that's not the movie he's describing. Second, Shawn of the Dead is a superb movie.

Right, in Left 4 Dead there are also no zombies. They are "infected".

I'll be getting Left 4 Dead and Resident Evil 5. I guess I am more hyped for Left 4 Dead because it comes out first and it has four player co-op instead of two.

Resident Evil 5 is my top priority, but obviously its not coming out until next year so... Left 4 Dead will be the zombie slaughter-fest that holds me over.

zombies are defined as dead bodies coming alive? in re4 when i first played i was like wtf.. but i loved it anyway, infected bodies ooooo, that's something u don't see everyday stranger.

I would start with Left 4 Dead then, work my way up.
