I wouldn't say they have more "killing power" I think it's pure chance or the fact that some games, such as Halo 3, are more popular. That said, mine occurred after my boy knocked my xbox over. HDD was ruined at same time. Choice words were spoken.

I don't want to sound rude or annoying or anything, but one game doesn't cause RROD. It's usually a multiple factors...But the game I was playing when I got both of my RRODs was COD 4.

Never got the RROD, but I'm sending in my xbox this week because I believe its damaging my games, they are starting to get oddly shaped circles around the middle of the disk, and the xbox is unable to read them very often.
games dont give you rrod, its the hardware failing, u will be using ur xbox when it breaks so odds on it will be when playing a game that dont mean its down to the game. its like blaming a tv channel for your tv breaking. if you knew anything about computers and hard ware then you would no that no game can give you a hardware error.

yeah the most common cause of rrod is a cold solder joint between the GPU and the mainboard because microsoft used lead free solder
I got the RROD from CoD2. FFXI gave me the no picture, no audio thing, but I was able to fix that, but I still got rid of it since it wasn't under warranty anymore.
I've had the RRoD twice before, once when my DVD-Drive messed up, and another time when the motherboard died. I don't think games in general actually give you the RRoD, as it's linked with a hardware failure.
Everything is running fine until I played king kong. The colours were vague and smudgy. So the next day RROD. King Kong is now locked and will never see the light of day,
For the record, no game caused your 360 to break. That game was just the thing that broke the camels back. Haven't had RRoD issues but I have had other issues. Don't think it happened DURING a game though.
