I hear ya, i think we need to see what nba 2k8 can bring this year, 2k sports always had the best basketball sim..and im not totally convinced with these features of nba live 08 EA always tries to over do it and as of late it hasnt been any good. but we'll see im not counting it out just yet.

If it plays anything like last year, I'll happily be buying 2k8. If Live has made strides forward, it'll be a tougher decision.

yea live 08 is kinda pissin me off but 2k games are better to me and i rather their games then live yea Gilbert is on the cover and i live in DC so it should b a big deal but it isnt because its live so i would really like some 2k8 things please!!!

No matter what happens with Live, I am buying 2k for sure. EA has a lot to prove before people start buying their crap again. Same thing goes for the Madden series.

hmm going by the last 2 years id say 2k has a completely better bball game. how is it uninformed? unless ea has made major major chnages.

I still care about Live. Hear me out here: Yeah, the 2K serious has been owning them for the past few years or so, but I've unlocked the formula for a good Live game: '96 was good on last gen (i.e. Genesis or SNES), but sucked on next-gen (Playstation). Then '97 sucked a little less, but still sucked. '98 was good for it's time, and the rest basically rehashed '98 excellence. Fast forward to 2001 on PS2: Horrible compared to the PS1 version...2002 sucked a little less, and 2003 was good. The remainder of the PS2/Xbox Lives more or less were built upon 2003. Okay, now, fast forward to 06 on the 360: terrible compared to it's XBox counterpart. 07 Sucked a little less....Now see, based on the game's history, we're due up for a good one in 08 as the pattern continues...

i played 07 on my pc for 8 months non stop....

but now that i have a 360 i think ill check out 2k8

live was terrible last year but i'm hoping they can improve this year, will be a tough decision if live is more like 05 or 06

I am not sure if they'll be at E3, but it would be nice if they do show up.

I will probably get NBA 2K8 since Live has been crap ever since it hit the next-generation.

2 straight years of Shaq and now Chris Paul??? Atleast Live have better cover models...2K can't afford better ones?Not that the covers are that important..maybe they spend the money on the game itself instead.

Once I went Next-Gen, and the last Live game I bought was with 'Melo on the cover. After that I stopped liking the Live series and I started playing 2K Sports bball game.

i hope see nba2k8 gameplay i cant wait nba live 2008 looks good but i hope gameplay not arcade nba2k7 best basketball game ever. i hope 2ksports continue the awesome simulation basketball game
