Yea their okay but people like Legolas with 69,000 points should definetly try to get a life.Sub-ZeroJoe
Or I could just rent a lot of the games and finish them quickly. It's not like most games take much time to get at least 500 achievements, usually just by finishing it.
The president of Gearbox even said in a recent interview that he has around 65,000, I'm sure Randy is occasionally busy.

69,000 points is a sh*tload of points. I've had my xbox 360 since launch and have only gotten to 13,325. I also rent most of my games through Gamefly. Its cool but they should reward you somehow. Like for "X" points you get 1 month free xbox live or for like 100,00 points you get a free xbox game of your choice.
Think about it, more people will buy more games to get free stuff thus Microsoft won't be losing money.
I love achievements but i could care less about overall gamerscore. If they could keep the individual achievements that you can still use to compete with friends and show off if people want to see what you've done, without adding to an overall gamerscore, that would be cool. I get tired of being attacked sometimes just because of my gamerscore. So what. I've had a 360 since launch and have over 100 360 games, i should have a high score. But i also have a girl, 2 kids, and a great life. Stop putting your hangups on me. Achievements are great and serve a purpose, but gamerscore is useless imo.

Thank you. It makes a hell of a lot more sense for people like us to have high scores than some people I see who own 30 games and somehow only have 2000 points. It's just a waste of money when you buy all that and don't spend time playing the games.

hahaha
I was thinking the SAME thing actually lol. This guy sounds like he's about to wet himself with acheviements hahaha. In my honest opinion, it's all a load of bollocks to me, simply an imaginary pissing contest between nerds with no lives online. I can feel it......yep, a moderation is coming my way very soon for this message cuz I probably hurt somebody's feelings and I guess opinions are appreciated only if they match your own.

I agree I enjoy the replay ability it brings to games and for those that say I have no life, read my sig plus I have 4 kids a beautiful wfe and I ghost write for rappers making good money. I can work when I want so time is not a issue and you would be surprised at how many rappers are hardcore gamers too.[QUOTE="gta4_2112"][QUOTE="Legolas_Katarn"][QUOTE="DZBricktop"]I love achievements but i could care less about overall gamerscore. Ive played 27 xbox 360 games and I have 9315gsTheir just trying to hide the fact that they play way too many videogames and probably don't have much of a social life. Its funny Zero how every time a achievement thread pops up you rush to it just to say you dont care for them and your too busy having a life and those with high scores have no life. IF YOUR TOO BUSY HAVING THIS SO CALLED WONDERFUL LIFE, WHERE DO YOU FIND THE TIME TO TROLLthey are pretty good, i mean i like them, they give you something to work for, adding more replay value. But seriously if you wouldnt play your 360 again because they took away acheivements for some reason, then your not a real gamer.
I would still play and have fun if they took acheivements away, and if they never created them...we would never know, nothing would have changed.
