doesn't come in a middle sized 70-80 dollar collectors edition. I want a nice collectors edition in a steel case for around 80 bucks, I am mad that it is only the 60 dollar plain game or a 150 dollar collectors with crap I dont want and I wont pay that much for a game. What does everyone else think.

haha lol he's mad not getting a case of his choice... YOU know 99.9% limited/ collectors games is 100% waste of money. I have came across one worth the money. SADLY that is mw3... $60 for the game + 40 for the elite that gives you monthly dlc... NOW to bad skirim don't have that type of deal god knowing it will have $50-$100 of dlc in the coming months followed by a GOTY edition next year. IF it did i would spend the extra cash for that for skirim

I have to agree with k2thesiwss. Personally I've never seen a "collectors edition" video game that wasn't just a rip off for some sucker. Video games are not like collectiable cars or comic books or other tangible items. They are not going to increase in value over time. A collectors edition video game is pointless. At least in my opinion. If I came across some guy with an orginal copy of Zelda for Nintendo still in the package I'd say "That's great, but it isn't worth squat."

You have to be the worlds biggest sucker if you pay $1000 for a collectors edition of any video game much less Mass Effect.

Why? A collectable is a collectable. Just like comic books, antique furniture, or baseball cards. They hold a value and it is determined by supply and demand. There are not a lot of copies of the Mass Effect Collectors Edition, yet enough demand, that the price has increased to said amount.

Ten years from now it might be worth ten bucks.

I dont care about the how much it costs. When a Bethesda game comes out, Fallout or Elder Scrolls, i am getting the collector's edition.

Seriously? There are games out there right now that are worth 10's of thousands of dollars. I'm not saying that the same will happen with the limited edition of Mass Effect but you can't just dismiss the possibility.

Meh. The skyrim collectors edition offers nothing. I will agree that the MW3 version is pretty cool, just because of the DLC thing alone. Saints Row: The Third has a good CE, too. I'd actually consider buying it if I felt those headphones would get enough use. I didn't bother with the Batman CE just because I have enough crap in my house that I don't dust. I don't need another.
