who else thinks MLG is lame?

i just dont get why people love the mlg and think its so awesome. videogames. they're not REAL. its fake. its pretending to do something. its interactive television. its just such a spineless organization the MLG. because videogames arent tangible. any random racist assh0le can be the worlds best. it takes no character or integrity so it will never be taken seriously and will never be considered by the world to be a true sport. despite what espn may claim. imagine you were in the mlg. would you be playing games all the time? cos if so you would be screwed when reality rolls around and you realize you need a job and you have no skills to speak of. i understand the competitive aspect, its always fun to be good and have people recognize your skill. but how will you feel when your thinking back on you life, you were a professional videogamer. i dont kno about you guys but i personally would be pretty embarassed. and what if a guy was telling you he was a professional videogamer? i would lose a lotta respect for him and so will a lot of other people. its just not a respectable title. outside the crew of mlg pros and wannabes, you just dont get any respect for being a pro gamer. would your parents ever proudly state: "my son got paid for playing halo!" i doubt it. what happens when people kno your a pro gamer? omg he must be lazy and ugly and fat and no fun to be around. while thats not true for everyone its still a stereotype. so ya anyone else agree? anyone else in tune with the rest of the world? or will you all hate me for delivering a dose of truth to your hopelessly narrow lives?

You don;t make any sense. You won't lose respect for haveing a carrer in something you love. In fact people would be jealous that you got paid to play video games.

I think game competetions are cool. Clans can get together and try their best. I think MLG is lame though, it would be cool if they just simply showed clans competing... but they've got to make it all flashy, even the name is stupid. They make such a big stink.
