actually theyre not last. IGN hasnt reviewed it either, well except for IGN UK, but the US IGN is usually always one of the first to review a game. Not very many people at all have reviewed Flashpoint. its a little odd.

haha dude im the same way im waiting on either Gamespot or IGN's review before i go out and spend 60 bucks. But the more footage i see it makes me want to go get it.

I was going to get this game today and try it out, but of course none of the stores around here get it till tomorrow/friday

so you ask for people's opinions on the game, and he tells you his, so then you say "no not really"? lol cool. and the new spongebob game over MW2? lol im not sayin MW2 is gonna be the best game ever, but a spongebob game?

I turned op flashpoint off after mission 1,the graphics are awful,the ordes are fiddly and driving the jeep is a joke.get in the gunner seat and the ai couldnt drive past a wall,it just revved up into it,no reversing,i had to boot him out and do it myself,man i was so hyped for this game,im gutted,dissapointment is an understatement.How can codemasters go from the amazing graphics and gameplay of dirt 2 to this awful game.i will give it another go but after ive got over the shock,maybe my expectations wre too high.i also played on my 32 inch hd at 720p,i will try my 24 inch monitor at 1080p to see if its better but i cant see how it will differ that much.sorry to give a bad review but im being honest and thats all i can do.hope you dont feel as letdown as i do but i expect you will...

Agreed, I like the MW series "BUT" Operation Flashpoint seem to offer more of a tactical challenge(which will scare off the run-n-gunners)lol...so expect alot of hate for this game!!!:P

Weird. Gamespot used to have reviews up the day before or the day of a release, now it takes days. So long that I pretty much don't ever read them anymore. Why? I mean there's the whole damaged credibility thing I guess...

I'm not sure what to do about this game. You've got some sites giving it 8/10 and then people complaining up a storm about it. I guess it's been a really really long time since Ghost Recon/ GR2, that people have forgotten what long-range shooting and a little bit of strategy are all about.

I've seen people trashing this game because "it takes 10 hits to drop someone," and meanwhile others are talking about the realistic ballistics that probably make those 10 shots misses. I don't know... it doesn't have a prayer of being even half as big as MW2 (let's face it, this game should have been released 6 months ago), but it completely reminds me of pre-GRAW Ghost Recon.

I'm getting it. I don't care. You don't get jazzed about a game and then let the haters talk you out of it.

Meh. I don't see this game faring that well. They tried pushing in to CoDs market and their games are more directed towards players who aren't that great at actual tactical shooters. I'm sure this will cause this game to be badly reviewed by at least 10% of the gamers that review it, that's why I wouldn't really ask many people their feelings of it.

I'm sure after a few weeks of people getting used to what a real warfare enviroment is meant to be like - the mixed reviews will end. Then MW2 will come and everyone will stop talking about this game completely. Haha. Shame... this one really looked like it could've been great if just pushed up a few months, after the whole MW2 craze slightly goes down.

On the topic of finding review scores, I go to Metacritic. It lists many, many of the major reviewing websites' and magazines' scores of a game, as well as user scores.

ummmmm....im not an idiot,ive got a hdmi cable and i tried it on 1080p on my monitor and it was a little better,but still poor by 2009 standardsninjanutta

way to many bugs, the game feeils like it was rushed. Good job in this rating GAMESPOT!!!

The campaign is really fun with 2 or 3 other friends playing co-op. Other than that it becomes frustrating how dumb your friendly A.I. can be.

As for the competative MP I can't really say much other than I was not able to find a match at all. :( I'll try again tomorrow.

I completely disagree with ninjanutta, I bought OpFlash 2 days ago and I have to say its my favorite FPS since Ghost Recon Island Thunder back in the 90's its definently worth it if you prefer R6V and GR to COD and Halo...or if you like all of these this game would be great for a change of pace, yes the graphics aren't amazing but put it on in HD and they are damn good! I personally love this game...just thought you could use a positive opinion instead of all of this negativity!

I had gone to Gamestop a couple days ago hoping to find something different; Thus I found Operation Flashpoint: Rising Dragon. I'm quite disappointed to be honest. It's nothing spectacular. The enemy A.I. is ridiculously insane and your squad is comprised of complete morons, and the controls are shoddy; To add insul to injury the game is repetitive, and boring. I'll be returning it to Gamespot Monday. Damn straight!

How are the graphics compared to... let's say.... GRAW 2? By today's standards, it's not the best, but serviceable. If it looks just as good as GRAW 2, I'd be willing to give them a pass on visuals.

I was to afraid to buy the console version so I've been playing it on my PC. Game looks & plays great. It does have a few issues, but overall an excellent Tactical Sim Shooter. It's best played via Co-Op, at least that's what I think.

I think this game LOOKS great. Although it will probably not get as good reviews because it is VERY tactical, while most console gamers like Run'n'gun "fast reflexes win" games, like CoD.
