Well I haven't....and my question is obvious at this point, I dont even have to ask it. When you start a new game on realistic, if you turn off the console you can't access your game through "reload last checkpoint" in the welcome menu becuase the difficulty will drop back to normal. What you have to do is: Single Player, Story Mode, Reload Last Checkpoint (there're some people that prefer "Select Chapter", its really your choice). To know if your difficulty is still on realistic, aim at a terrorist, if it stays white your fine, if it turns red you have to reload.

Funny, that glitch never happened to me. Guess I was lucky.
if they're going to call it realistic they should make it so when you die you have to start the game over. it would be near impossible but much more realistic.

You mean if someone dies in real life you have to go back in time and start over?
You guys have the glitch wrong. Its not if you select reload checkpoint, its if you turn off your console before selecting save and quit in the pause menu. When you save, it verifies the difficulty, and for some reason turning the xbox off while in a level nixes that. I always select reload last checkpoint and i still die in one good shot.
played through it the first time on Realistic. Died way too much on the first two levels (specially when i got to the strip), but I got WAY better a lot faster. So by the time I first got online I was already decent at it.

what glitch? are we talking about realistic turning into normal? i think the difficulty jump to unrealistically hard!!! on the "realistic" i got so tick off, i threw my disc across the room, but thank GOd it didnt break and it still work!!! yea!!!

This game to me just sucks ass. The game AI is retarded when I command my teammates to stack up at a door they don‘t even move I dam near have to baby sit them thorough out the entire game. If anyone who has beat this game on realistic great job your much better then I will ever be.
