After hearing about them having hardware failures left and right, their is no way in hell I'm buying one. I'm not about to spend $400 on something that is going to break in 2 months.
I am on my first 360 and it was actually a used system when I purchased it. My 360 doesn't see a large amount of play and it never gets moved, so I am sure that will help to contribute to a decent longevity.
Though my first X360 pooped out, my second wouldnt connect to the internet, and now my 3rd doesnt like reading game discs all the time. I still like chocolate milk!
Got mine March 2005 and it is still running fine. I think it all has to do with moderation, ventilation, and basic care. The x360 is a fragile piece of equipment...
im on 1st. ive had one problem and that was my gamercard got corrupted once after i moved my xbox. i bought very late last year and so hopefully mine is one of the better ones. lol
I've had mine four months no prob - except for one time it froze while I was using the guide menu while playing a game. Btw the x360 was not out in March 2005 to whoever just posted above...
