I'm just wondering who else is board of gear of war besides me

I'm not bored, I'm just starting to realise the multi-player isn't that great, all it is is shotguns and snipers.
They need to power up the lancer so people take cover, and so it isn't just a shotgun war, its getting rather annoying having shotgun battles were the outcome is basically whether the shotgun gives your a good spray or not.
And then you have active reload sniper which is the biggest annoyance because it is so easy to own someone with it.
Oh yea and melee needs to be slower, you cant even get away from the first melee so your basically dead unless you pull off some crazy shotgun bull.
im still having fun with Gears... but the game is not being played compared to how you would play the game in single player on hardcore/insane. the cover system is just for...
1) moving around the room/evading the enemy when they are up close
2) hiding
3) doing the monkey dance with one handed weapons
... rather than actually switching from taking fire and covering.
things Epic needs to do so the MP is played just like the SP.
1) beef up the lancer/hammerburst
2) beef up the shotgun (make it still more powerful than the lancer/hammerburst, but not extremely more powerful like it is right now)
3) make explosions'/boomshots' splash damage hurt people that are even behind cover (to not make grenades/boomshots useless)
4) make it so that people cannot chain melees (once you get meleed in the MP, you are pretty much dead unless there is enough lag in the game for the victim to roll out/shoot their shotgun)
and to make it so that the game isn't just about hiding behind cover... they should bring back the insanity meter (i believe that is what it was called). for those who have not heard about it... the insanity meter is a metter that would gradually build up when your teammates were undercover but being fired at. once the meter was all the way up, your teammates would commit suicide (i.e. go down). a modified system can be made in the MP, where you have a life meter and a insanity meter. if you were up shooting and getting hit, your life meter would go down. but when you are down but being fired at... your insanity meter would go up. if either your life meter went downor your insanity meter went up all the way... then you would go down.
IMO, this would make the game more about cover than any cover-system game out right now. (what do you guys think about it? i actually took the time to write all of this, so i kinda want to know what others think :P)
