personally i think its an awesome game. there is more action, its faster, the weapons are cooler and the camera is slightly easier to control. its just better imo than the first and im having a blast playing it. the reveiws have disagreed though and have constantly ripped on the game for the camera and "lack of improvements" so what do u guys think?

Most of the reviews have said that it is a good game, just don't expect it to be mind-blowingly better than the original.

Its an amazing game man, i love it!

And i personally dont have any problems at all with the camera, i wouldnt change it for anything. And also the difficulty is awesome, i love to be challenged by a game, instead of beating it in a few hours.

Ninja Gaiden 2 is a must own and one of the best actions games of all time imo.

Everyone owes it to themselves to try this game!

I loved how when i chopped off this one guys left arm off, he then started to try and fight me with just his right arm/hand

9.5/10 for me.

It doesnt bring a whole lot of new stuff to the table, but its still got some of the best and bloodiest gameplay ever imo!

Right now Ninja Gaiden 2 is up there with Age Of Conan as my early GAME OF THE YEAR picks! Both fantastic games

Lego Indy sounds fun. Now that you mention it, I might give it a go. I'm an Indy fan. I got the DVDs too! :P Anyways, I'm extremely satisfied that I pre-ordered and paid-in-full for Ninja Gaiden 2 but I'm worried about the punishing and brutal difficulty. Hell, I was going through God of War: Chains of Olympus and I was getting my combo moves and abilities mixed up that I got really frustrated. Some of the bosses or mini-bosses were downright brutal. I hate it when my combos get interrupted! lol.. Maybe, I'm just not that great with it. Judging from the trailers, I love the improved graphics - it looks nice and shiny. I like the dual-wielding weapons, plus new weapons in general, and more badass moves. It looks extremely solid in every respect. I think I will like it more than the reviewers but again, the difficulty is what worries me. This may MAKE or BREAK the game for me.

I haven't had too much time to play it yet, but I played through the first level yesterday. I am definitely very hapy with it so far. I was really surprised at how long the first level was (took me 44 minutes to complete), and I am hoping all of the levels will be nice and long like this. The combat is every bit as fun as it looks and I love how the Lunar Staff pulverizes your enemies.

I am disappointed with a few things so far though:

1) They changed Ryu's voice (his battle cries). To alleviate this I just changed the voice to Japanese and that changd his batle cries too. I just vasly prefer his Japanese voice for some reason...it's so unique.

2)The graphics are not too impressive. The characters and animation and blood all look quite good, but other than that it looks like the original Xbox game in high resolution. But when there is a lot going on you don't notice how bland the environment is. Maybe some of the later levels will look better than the first. I remember in the Xbox Ninja Gaiden the first several levels were kind of bland, but things got really interesting by the end of the game.

Overall, I am thrilled with this game. OK, now I gotta go play it some more.

As someone who hasn't played NG1 or NGB, I'll say I am really really impressed!. I had always heard how NG games were the hardest games ever...so when I didn't die a single time! in the first chapter and got a Master Ninja rank, I was a bit disillusioned. But!! then the came the first miniboss in chapter 2 and I got my *** handled to me multiple times:). It was then that I really started paying attention on blocking, countering, when to jump...when to dodge, when to flying swallow, when to use ninpo etc etc, and I cleared that part. Then I met with Genshin, aaaah!! it took me 2 nights(I'm a casual gamer with a full time job and a family, so I play about an hour in the nights when I get the time). I was so damn frustrated!!...I couldn't even defeat the bugger with multiple health items and even one Talisman of Rebirth...then I got better:), dodging, countering, running, slashing...and on my final try I beat him while managing to get hit only twice!!..yay!. Last night I got to the chapter 3 boss, and well, it was game over in the first try. I'll try it again tonight. But what I've come to realize is that the only way to play NG2 is NO BUTTON MASHING, but being aware of anything and everything...quick reflexes, adept counters and of course the proper handling of the camera(which is annoying sometimes, honestly). It gives me a feeling of satisfaction which I've never experienced in a game before....truly magnificent! Oh, and did I mention how cool the finishing/obliteration moves are...wow!. Clearly a 9.5 in my opinion. By the way, I think the graphics are about as good as it can get for an ultra-sonic action game like this.

I love the game, being a fan of NGB. I don't have really any disappointments so far (Just finished the 2nd level a few hours ago, now watching Hostel 2.) except I noticed more frame rate drops than I'd like to see. Anyone else notice this?

The frame rate drops are the only thing holding this game back. Other then that Ninja Gaiden 2 is freakin awesome. I have been having a blast playing it. Oh and the Ninja Dogs are wicked as hell.

I love the action and the gameplay and while it isn't a great story it doesn't bother me like it did the reviewers.

I've only just played the demo of Ninja Gaiden 2 and I love it. It's the first Ninja Gaiden game I've played and it is extremely bloody, and it's a lot of fun. Good thing I have it pre-ordered lol
