Always trusted Blizzard and they have yet to disappoint me, they made the best RTS I've played (Starcraft) and also the only MMORPG I played for longer than 3 months in a row without cancelling my subscription :D. Also Valve, they are pretty innovative and make awesome FPS games.
in order, my favorite devs are valve, bungie, and inifnity ward. bioware seems to make a lot of good games too, but ive only played ME and KotOR. epic and id would probably be on my list, but epics game usually fall short of my expectations (but they can still be good) and id hasnt really done anything since quake 3 (which was almost 10 years ago).
probably IW, except they're stupid for letting Treyarch piggy back on their best franchise. Then probably one of the Ubisoft studios. I can't pick one specifically but as a publisher Ubisoft always comes up with something new. Assassin's Creed was a great game.
Blizzard would probably be considered the most trusted, and valve as well. Every one of their games, from what I understand, have delivered to their fan's expectations.
I would have to go with Blizzard, I've been playing there games for a long time and have yet to be dissapointed. Second would be infinity ward, third would be Bethesda.

I would say my top 3 would be Blizzard, Bioware, and Bethesda. It is pretty sad though that Rare dropped from the top 3... I used to love their games so much, but alas they make well.... i wouldn't say crap, but not up to what they used to (hell i still like Viva Pinata, but they are past their golden age).
Also i like how my top 3 devs start with a "B" in their name.
Bioware because every single one of their games are incredible rpg's especially KOTOR
Valve- These guys are masters at FPS single player games
Rare would be my third but Perfect Dark Zero was boring and there is no way in hell am I gonna buy Viva Pinata but at least Goldeneye was good.....where's the remake Rare where is the remake!?

I think valve must be pretty good cos my m8 keeps talking about em and alot of ppl have sed their good on this threadf. sadly ive never played one of there games, but ill have to one.
Blizzard all the way. They are more for the consumer than themselves. The requirements on their games speak for itself. Valve as well. I always enjoyed Half-Life and CS.
