Who owns 360 but never had the original X Box?

Just out of curiosity I was wondering how many current owners of Xbox 360, like me,never owned the old Xbox last gen? And if so what was your reason to get the 360 this gen?

Last gen I was a PS2 owner, mainly due to the GTA series was first released on there and the WWE Smackdown games. I decided to go with 360 this gen because of its lower price then PS3 and also GTA 4 and the Smackdown vs. Raw series was also going to be released for 360. Two 360 exclusive games also made me convert over to Microsoft, Saints Row and Dead Rising.

I had a PS2 and XBOX last gen, but for the longest time all I played was the PS2. I got the 360 for RSV and Halo 3.

I was a huge Sony fanboy, I even bought a PSP...which I'm now trying to sell lol

The reason I got a 360 is because I had just bought a HDTv and wanted to have HD gaming, I was going to wait it out until the PS3 price was announced, I'm a really cheap gamer so it was a real turn off for me so I decided to give the 360 a chance and told myself if I didn't like it I could sell it once the PS3 had a price drop...but now I don't even think of selling my 360 for anything

had a gamecube and a ps2. was once a hater of the 360 but saw the light. game selection and price played a major part in the desicion. wasnt keen on the wii and im a graphics whore of sorts so 360 was the best fit form me.dont have much love for wii and ps3 atm

The reason i got the 360 was because of the last delay in Europe of the PS3 as my original plan was to get a PS3 then get a 360 later on but i really wanted to get a next gen system and once the PS3 got delayed to March here in Europe i thought bugger it ill get a 360 and im glad i did because the PS3 line up hasnt been that great so far while the 360's have been pretty good i still plan on getting a PS3 but im going to wait til the likes of MGS4 have been released.

I never had an x-xbox last gen, i had a ps2 since it had a vast library of games, and after seing my freind play ffx and kh i just went to the shop a week later and bought me 1.

the reason i got the 360 this gen was because almost all the games i wanted on the ps3 was going to the 360 and it had allot more games. the 2only games remaining thats keeping me from completely dumping sony is kh3 and ff13

The 360 is my first console i've owned, i only used to play PC games. I'm glad i've made the switch!!

I owned a PS2 day one at launch but hardly played it much, I was mostly a PC Gamer all my life but really getting tired of pouring money each year to keep up with the software. So decided to switch over to the 360 close to a PC yet i do not need to worry about upgrading every year to enjoy games.

I do miss how every game you could talk with a keyboard though, Instead of the xbox 360 where you have to use voice.

Anyway, I just bought a 360 a few days ago. I love it. I own a Wii too, I think it is a great system as well, but I was missing out on some really cool games. So I broke down and bought a 360.

I didnt own a xbox. In fact, I kinda despised it. Not sure why. Maybe it was because I had no where to put it in my entertainment system. Or maybe just because I was happy with my dreamcast, PS2 and GC. Or maybe because I just didnt see the benefit over everything else I had.

But now I plan on buying some older xbox I missed out on. And Im very happy with my purchase, I definitely see the benefit in all the 360 has to offer.

My last console was the NES and then I was a PC gamer for a long time. I finally got tired of the lack of interesting games on the PC and the need to always have to upgrade to the latest technology just to play the game..I ended up getting the 360 and it's worked out great for me..Raz0redge

more people need this type of attitude. Stick with Consoles when it comes to games because you'll go broke from just upgrading your PC for the rest of your life.

i saw the gears of war tv ad and thought wow i need to play that game. apart from a shaky start gettin used to the control pad ive never looked back

I had an Nintendo 64 and a Gamecube.

The Wii looked really stupid, and the game selection blew.

Ps3 forget it.

The 360 had lots of games I wanted, so I got it.

Best selection I ever made.
