After seeing the videos of the beta I am getting extremely tempted to purchase Crackdown now. I never wanted to buy 60 bucks to play Halo early but my defenses are breaking down. Should I give into temptation? By the way I think Crackdown isn't the best game.

I've only played the demo of Crackdown and havn't been too hot for it. If I do end up getting it I will probably sell it not too far after the Halo 3 beta ends.
Procrastanation=me.I will be getting crackdown this weekend.Iv'e already rented it,frankly i didn't care much for the game.I have already called my local game supplier and yes,they have plenty in stock with the beta included.So,i will be buying it this weekend to play the beta,and hopefully as a bonus,if i play crackdown a little more maybe it will get better.
i just contacted my local hastings,they have used ones now for $20.He said they were instructed to not rent them,so they are selling used ones now for cheap.Sweet!I just reserved a used one from there.They have that disc cleaning machine so i know the cd will be at least in playable state.I asked if you had to have a certain piece of paper like something that came with a brand new one,and he did some checking and said no.Does anyone no for sure?
Not all copys of Crackdown have the Beta. Be sure it has a sticker on the box stating the beta comes with it. Only the launch copys had the Beta included.
Seriously though buying a game just for the beta is dumb, especially since Crackdown is a good game on its own.
the place i am getting mine has crackdown copies with JUST the beta included,he said he hasn't seen ones without it yet.As a halo fanatic,i might purchase turkey boys excellent adventures to get the beta,dumb or not.
crackdown is an ok game but its boring you kill some boss's then just kill every one to get your skills up then its over
crackdown still has the betas in it some have stickers some dont but ive the ones without stickers some of them still come with the beta paper in side saying you got in and you do
yo...how bout i just rent the game for the beta...would that work....cuz blockbuster has the thing were thieres no late fees so basicaly 10 bucks to play a halo 3 beta....plus some game called Crackdown i think
i was thinking about getting crackdown anyway, so this weekend ill just have to see if any of my local gamestops have any remaining copies with the beta included
