Who Still Plays MW2 ?

General census please. I mean I know its the most popular game, I'm talking about is there any non casual gamers left in the community ? or have they all given up on the game and still hate it ? I'm asking because I had given up on this game months ago but have an erge to return online but first I wanna know if all the glitches and sub-par gameplay issues have been fixed.

I still play it, but I'm currently working through Bioshock 1 and 2 - and I'll soon be playing Red Dead Redemption - so I haven't played in a while.

MW2 doesn't have much substance when you want to play a "proper" game.

i still play cod:waw

there arent anymore seriously cheap glitches or anything, but still the same being 5 feet around a corner and still get killed lag, overpowered weapons, BS hit detection and bad spawns

I play it inbetween games. Right now I'm playing a lot of it because I'm waiting for the Dragon Age patch to come to PS3 so I can finish it before Alan Wake.

I do but Halo Reach and Castle Crashers have been taking up a lot of my time AND my live just ran out but if it didnt I'd be playing it sometime tonight. Its my go-to game when I get blazed and need something to play late night.

Definitely still play it.

I've always thought that all the hate towards MW2 was quite unjustified. Most all the criticisms I've heard are extremely over-exaggerated. Especially about all the glitching and whatnot, which is quite rare in my experience. And the weapon/perk balance, which is better than both CoD4 and WaW if you ask me, despite the dramatically increased amount ofvariables involved.

Its not a perfect game, but I do think the worst I can say about MW2 is that the gameplay doesn't feel fresh anymore. I think a large part of all the hate is that people are kinda tired of the same old game, and instead of realizing that, theyprematurely pin their new-found dislike on other factors(glitches, weapon balance, whatever).

There's still no FPS that 'feels' as good to play. The gameplay is just so smooth and natural feeling. It can be improved upon, but I've yet to play an FPS that doesn't feel at least slightly clumsy in comparison.

My roommate and I just got done doing some Spec Ops on Veteran. That snatch and grab mission with Shadow Company and Juggernauts is a nightmare.MattUD1

I remember that mission. It was super easy playing on normal with my friend, but when me and another friend played it on Veteran we got viciously murdered everytime.

MW2 was fun for two seconds, and then it started to suck

I still play it.

I quit. Mostly because the game heavily punishes those that doesn't camp and/or doesn't have mad skills in the form of killstreaks. That's a great discouragement.

I have also quit. Have not played it for a few weeks to a month. At the moment I am playing Nazi Zombies and enjoying it a lot.

I feel like MW2's entertainment/multiplayer aspect has a horrible bell curve.

I refer to myself as a somewhat hardcore gamer, like i wont yell in a mic if i die, but i still play to the best of my ability, and to answer your question yes i still play mw2...a lot

I've just gone back to the multiplayer again after a while of not touching it.
Still get frustrated with it but mainly because of my lack of 'skill' in the game. Plus the spawning issue IS bloody annoying!!!!

went online earlier for some S&D...was greeted by a guy wall-hacking, then the next game i do a 360 quick scope across the map for the final kill...get a hitmarker, then he kills me with an M16, then a guy gets 4 kills, gets a care package and an AC130 (in S&D) and mops up our entire team

honestly i am so close to just abandoning it, but no matter how hard i try to do that, i keep going back :(

Just started playing again after a few months off. All of the glitches have been fixed and I'm having a whole bunch of fun with it.
