You sound like a moron... you bash a company that you go to often.. lulz.bought games there because they had Vanquish in stock used, checked the local smaller game retailer and they had the game used as well. Returned the games at gamestop and purchase at local smaller game retailer. That was the first time I've done business with gamestop since I purchased my ps3 with no accessories or games 3 years ago. So no, I don't sound like a moron, you were just ignorant to the situation. Thanks for trying.
If it weren't for the fact that I've gotten good deals from Gamestop over the years I'd probably hate them too but I dont. Besides, doesn't everybody and their mother own CoD? So how much could you possibly expect to get for it anyway.

I got like 50 cents for Killzone 1 when I eventually traded it in. Normally I am 110% against trading in games BECAUSE of the ripping off of the customer. However, I am at a point in my life where my game collection is already larger than I can ever hope of catching up and I really don't need old games sitting around collecting dust that I know I will never play again. So if I really want a new game, and am determined to buy it, I'm more likely these day to just accept whatever I can get from GS, try to cash in on trade-in deals when they offer them, and then at least I make some space at home for another game and save a few bucks.
Sure, there is alway ebay but I doubt I will get that much more and the trouble of putting it on the site and dealing with people, shipping, etc, doesn't seem worth it to me.
Which is why intelligent people don't trade games in at GameStop. What does intelligence have to do with it? You can either get some money for something you're never going to use again or you can keep it, never play it again and not get any money for it. It's not as if GameStop force people to sell their games to them. Trading in games is not a stupid thing to dowiammaren

People are lazy and places like GameStop exploit their laziness. If all you have to do is take your games down there and exchange them for cash then you shouldn't expect much. Similarly, if you're prepared to put the effort into listing your unwanted games onto Amazon marketplace or eBay then you perhaps deserve to get a slightly better price. GameStop is a business and, here in the uk at least, the second hand market is the bigger money maker for our game stores so I don't blame the, for trying to get the biggest margin on themItsEvolution
