I'm bored at work today so I thought I would ask the question:

Who would win in a fight between the Prince of Persia & Altaïr (assassins creed)?

See I thought that as well, but the Prince was pretty hard in Warrior Within.

I think it would depend on the scenario. If it was a surprise attack...Altair all the way. But if it was a one on one...PoP may pull it off, although it wouldn't be a guarantee.

If itwas a battle royal or something where both where fighting head to head the Prince would win for sure. In a crowd or when the Prince wasn't expecting a fight Altair all the way.....then again it could also be the other way around if Altair wasn't expecting a fight couldn't it?

So I'll just go with the Prince of Persia =)

Man, I wish I had that kind of time at work...although it might be too boring. What is it that you do?

i'm a data entry temp at a large accountancy firm (what dreams are made of ay?). But they never have any work for me to do.

And yes it does get boring. I never thought being paid to surf the net for 8 hours would get old, but it does. very quickly.

Can't complain I suppose. They could actually get me to do some work.

wow i was thinking of this a few days ago lol. but honesty think about it!!!

the Prince has a WAY better fighting stile and better acrobatics, all Altair can do is reversal moves his combat sucks and he can barley take on 3 people (once again without his reversals) he would ge PWNED in a fight. now the Prince can take on multiple enemies at any given time and do arial attacks...i think most of you just like Altair more so you say "Altair" with out giving it some thought. oh and PoP is way better that AC

I think a lot of people misunderstood the question. Altair would win in a "Who is more bad-ass?" contest and not in "Who would win in a fight?" Altair is more bad-ass because he is cold-blooded killer and Prince has more compassion for people. (Plus, Altair is equipped with more stuff).

But in a fair fight Altair would lose because his fighting skills suck comparing to Prince. Altair would win only if he attaks first... from behind... and Prince would be drunk... and half-asleep... and one-handed.

Yeah, I had a friend that worked at a company that makes paper forms for other companies. He said it was great when they had work, but it got really boring between projects. He said pretty much the same thing you said. Right now I'm a restaurant manager, so while there is slow time, it's not frequent enough that I get bored on the computer that often.

Altair for sure! the guys is so **** strong hehe.

Never liked prince of persia a lot though...

Not many people have even taken into account the prince's time warping abilities, even if altair stabbed the prince in the back, he could just rewind time, turn around, and slash him with his sword. Boom altair is dead.romnajin

it's hard to say who's more skilled with his sword and other weapons but altair has some kinda cuirass or somthin pop is almost naked, so killing altair is more difficult than pop.though pop hassome body skills like a gymnast lol..but i think altair will win the fight plus that i find altair a person who may kill himself for his ideal,but pop..no, he's serious but not serious as altair.fallconet

Exactly, best case scenario for PoP would be both of them dying. Altair would probably pull the 'get stabbed grab the attacker and run him through' strategy if all else fails.

My vote goes to the Prince. Though Altair can block and counter attacks pretty well, having the power to manipulate time holds a bigger advantage for the Prince...I just wish the contest was only about who could get to point B from A (with buildings inbetween) :D

BTW, I forgot to mention how it's odd that Altair's enemies don't attack at the same time...it's like they're having it in turns...let's see Altair blocking and countering when they attack him all at once :D
