I am for sure. I could care less about Windows live chat or whatever, and an extra blade for marketplace. I wish they would have improved performance on the dashboard and when you hit the xbox button. Also getting ride of arcade trials from games played would have been nice. Thats all i really wanted. Improved performance and getting rid of arcade trials.

These additions are nice and much appreciated, but they still haven't added what alot of the community has been wanting since day one, like being able to rewind and fastforward music files and the ablity to use other video codec. Abeit, the latter is probably not gonna happen for numerous legal reasons. The only feature I"m probably goning to really appreciate is the ability to have my 360 download files then turn itself off when it is done.

who ever said i was mad? i'm just saying this update does nothing for me at all. i would have liked performance upgrade and being able to get rid of arcade demos. They knew thats what we wanted too.

Are you guys nuts? The update isn't even out yet... who said that some of these things that you're talking about aren't included? Just cause some video popped up on the internet with some selective parts of the update? I hardly think that that was all-inclusive.
they added the stuff I really didnt care about. I never use MSN messenger anyway. I would have like a webbrowser, a group private chate, and getting ride of the arcade game trails from the games played thats it and I would have been more then happy. I think they are just added bunch of random stuff that most people dont care about but are still nice to have.
WHAT?!!?!? When was the Spring Update officially announced...I don't understand how I could have missed it. Someone please link some type of proof where some us can check up on the new features.
People think it's lame because they're not listening to what people want. To everyone whos backing them up MICROSOFT IS NOT HIRING AND YOU WILL NOT GET FREE STUFF BY SAYING HOW COOL THEY ARE ALL THE TIME seriously, it's tiresome. They probably don't even check these boards. Anyway, back to topic, why are they adding all this random stuff nobody particualy wants? Instead of adding all the stuff people really want? I mean, c'mon adding this stuff is cool and all, but it's just novelties that are barley going to be used. Add something people want, or don't bother at all. It's a waste of download time. Spring is meant to be the time where they give big ass updates, like they did last fall, with the 1080p upgrade ect. So, granted, people are going to get a little pissy if this is the best they can come up with.
I think you have to take into consideration what you do actually want and would use. Not just what sounds good on paper. Most of that stuff I have absolutely no use for. What I do have use for however is 1680 x 1050 support! If they would give me that, then the update is A-Okay in my books.

Ummmm.....almost every widescreen 21-23" PC monitor on the market uses that resolution....and lots of people use VGA cause PC monitors are cheaper for HD....plus they already have them for PC use anyway......
I would have liked to see the Xbox button thingy work while playing original games but o well I'm looking to get an original xbox anyways so I guess its not a big deal. but I my self am really happy with the update.

yeah mine is slow opening up the menu during gameplay and it makes me mad
Wish they would make it so you could send videos to your friends using the webcam, fix the parental controls because I'm 18 and I still don't have any advertisements, and a web browser would be nice, or maybe a more accurate battery display.

Ypu can stop the arcade trials. jiustgo to the xbox live arcade menu and click disable trials
