Who's getting Devil May Cry 4?

Just wondering. People were going nuts when this game was announced for the 360 as well, but I have a feeling it was just so they had something to say to Sony fanboys.

But who is actually getting the game? I am. I'm a huge fan of the series and the story is great. Can't afford to miss it in any way.

I've never played the series... It's not a typical 360 game so if it scores high I might consider it for the sake of some variety in my collection. Also, is there a release date? I thought it was TBA...Jelle87

It's holiday 2007 for Europe, early 2008 for US.

And even though you never played the series, you can still play DMC4. Although the entire series has a big story behind it, Capcom makes sure you don't necessarily have to know the entire story to understand the story of one of them.

Also, you can read up on the story if you want on the internet somewhere.

wow wow wow wow !!!!! MAN!! in the holiday? i just knew that , im very big fan of the series and sure i will buy this and finish it 3 times at least like the past 3 devil may cries , and DMC2 is very underrated btw.

was a huge DMC fan back in the day on ps2, dmc2 was god awful, and by the time dmc3 came out, there were far Superior games out. god of war is better, and NINJA GAIDEN is miles beyond what dmc can dream off. after playing ninja gaiden and then going back to dmc just shows how poor the game is. IT WAS GREAT IN 2001, but now it just feels back dated. Capcom never let the series evolve. and Dmc4 just looks like dmc3 in highdef, and im not buying into that "demon-arm" crap, and NERO??!!!WTF!! Dante is one of thebest iconic characters,wow....sad. ill give it a try since i used to love the series, but i know i wont like it.axes03

i played god of war , but each have its own style , devil may cry you play with a guy who love to be stylish and the music is just crazy and the gameplay have a lot of chaos , but god of war have its own greek styled music which i like it too and it have its own gameplay style , i still like both and i cant compare them because they are deffirent styles on my opinion.

I still need to play through 1 - 3 (and yes I do own them, just haven't had time to play them). Once thats done, than ya I will probably get it.Santas_Hitman

you can play them they are very short but addictive and have a very high replay value because of sparda character and the other unlockables.

Meh? I can see why you think Ninja Gaiden is better then Devil May Cry, but God of War doesn't come close. GOW is a purely casual experience. There is no difficulty whatsoever in that game. At least you need some skill to play Devil May Cry games.Fyper

GOW and DMC gets better whenever the difficulity becomes harder that what i know , it sucks when you play DMC or GOW on easy , and on noraml somehow challenging but in hard it shows the fun of challinging .

As long as the PC version doesn't blow it (DMC3...), I'll be picking it up on release. If the PC version does fail, when I get a 360/PS3 I'll be getting it.Rockingtime75

Indeed.

Until PC devs start accepting the 360 controller as a standard for Vista, games like Platformers and Action/Adventures will tend to fare better on consoles.

I would say something similar to that if I sucked at the game.

I tried the first DMC and it was crazy fun but I haven't got around to actually buying the games thats something I need to do.

But DMC4 looks great.

I didnt exactly suck at it, i played it at my friends house a couple of times and i didnt like it at all.
