I dont plan on getting it, at least thats how i stand now. The idea sounds good, but it didnt appeal to me much after seing the latest video, which was a while ago. And also, the idea of buying any type of MMO on launch day is........well, no.
Negative. I'm not opposed to it - it seems like it will be to Xbox 360 what Phantasy Star Online was for Dreamcast - but I don't like to pay $10 a month for a game. It makes me feel obligated to play it, rather than like I'm enjoying it for what it is.
Also, there are so many great shooters on the Xbox 360 that it feels somewhat idiotic to me. I don't like a shooter where a guy who puts in hundreds of hours just grinding is more powerful than me, simply because of that. I want a game where my eighteen years of gaming experience are put to use in my superior movement, aiming, strategy, and reflexes - not some kids two hundred hours of grinding simply because he's fourteen and doesn't have to worry about work, women, or time-consuming college courses.
I really like the idea of Huxley, but if it'll be anything like me and WOW, then I won't touch Halo 3 or half of the other games in the pipeline. Besides, not that it completely fills the gap, but UT3 seems a good enough substitute to me.

Whos getting Huxley at launch i might get it once i get my Xbox 360NooBAFIEDNot me unless they revamp the gameplay. I didn't buy a 360 to have gameplay that looks like stuff we were seeing back in 2000. I hope it does get better, but that gameplay video didn't do much for me.

So yeah, basically you won't be getting it.Not sure why 10 bucks a month is such a big deal. Just buy one less game this year and that is up to 6 months of playtime. All updates are free and the servers have to work with a low ping time. You get what you pay for. Or just don't eat out one day of the month, and you have the money for a whole month and have tons more fun then a cheese burger and 20 mins of a good time.xelloss88Yeah man, you got it right. I mean its one thing if for some reason you can't afford it, but like you said, you can just cut a few things out per month and you are set. MMOs, if done right, totally warrant the monthly fee because they give you a game experience that you can't get any other way. Please, no one mention Guild Wars as its not a real MMO, its close though. I really want this game to come out amazing, but I doubt I'd get it at launch. MMOs are notorious for being really unstable at launch, so I'd wait a few weeks at the least to get it, definitely would also wait for a few reviews. This game has massive potential to be amazing, but also massive potential to fall flat on its face, I'm hoping for the former.
That's kind of stupid you have to pay monthly. They should just have the game and that's it, no more DLC and not make it an MMO. They should do it like MAG for the PlayStation 3.
