I might get it. It was good fun on PC, but honestly for people that were a fan of the PC versions, I can't see them switching to the 360. And for people already playing 360, I can't see many switching from COD/Gears/Halo, so this will end up being another shooter that does OK for 6 months then gets forgotten by most of the community :(
It's one of the main games I'm looking forward to this year. I always wanted to play the older versions on PC but never got round to it. I've always been attracted to the idea of a real battle simulator, so it's a yes from me.
I am getting it on the PC. I don't kow how well it could be on a console with no mods and limited customizeable missions. Hopefully the new approach will make it much more accessable for consoles.

Its not like CoD, BF, Halo, or any other FPS you have ever played. If you like action, STAY AWAY FROM THIS GAME. Yup. I like the realistic tactical small squad aspect. Plus the huge "it takes you 4 hours to walk across the map" island too.
yea, this game will be realistic, one shot kill no matter what game mode you play and this game will not be very action packed, it's a VERY slow paced tactical shooter but it will be a rental first, a purchase if it's good and if i can gets my friends on board. but yea, looks good and the island it's set on is said to take 3 hours to walk from one side of the island to the other in game.
Game looks really good - most likely I'll get it - just wondering when the actual release date is - the new trailer says summer, but GS has a release date of May 26th. Which is the real release date?
I am for sure, I wud get it on PC but mine prob cudn't reun the game lol. I couldn't stop playing the first game, I still play that and Armed Assault today
I will likely get it, I love tactical shooters. There is always the chance that they mess it up though, and me buying it also depends on how much better the PC version is (which I can't get because of my lousy PC).
I love Operation Flashpoint I had Operation Flashpoint Elite on original Xbox and there is nothing like running through the country side with heavily armed men I mean it has the Close Quarter elements in the game that would satisfy COD fans yet for those of us who like a bit more realism it also adds the long range tactics the being able to plan an attack having to retreat not just like in Halo and COD where if you get stuck you have to charge and hope it goes well or just throw a hell load of grenades then leg it forward however if anyone even tries to compare this great game to Battlefield I will kill you Battlefield is awesome yes but it is not a will never be like Operation Flashpoint in my eyes Battlefield has always just been and glorified version of COD but of course with larger maps so looking forward to seeing you fellas on OF.
I will be renting this game for sure. The videos are amazing and the game does look great but I have seen a lot of games look amazing from videos and then it sucks bad so... I will rent it first and go from there.
I will base it off of the demo, they should really have a MP demo but i doubt that will happen, i really want a good shooter other than COD4 because its a fast-paced action game with power-ups. I'd prefer a game more realistic which is why im going to look at this game, and really cant fukin wait for the new Ghost Recon.
