It seems to be a great game but I m sure I have to spend quite some bucks to get one...

Did anyone played the first one? Was it good?

heck yes i'm getting this. i pre-ordered this the very first day you could and am anticipating in immensely.  somehow i've withstood myself from playing the PS2 version too but i wanted to wait till it got on 360. i watched my friends play it and have fun but i never did. and now it's a month (unless they changed the date in the past day) and i can't wait

I'm definately getting GHII.  I've been playing it on my friend's PS2 like crazy, and it's friggin' awesome.

I had the first and second for the PS2 and loved them, awsome games. I sold my PS2 and both guitar heros to get my NIntendo Wii but im going to rebuy guitar her 2 for the 360. Its worth it.

Same here. I've been holding onto a $40 EB gift card for when it ships. I'm glad I won't have to wait much longer. :)

I am for sure. I had it on my PS2, but it recently kicked the bucket. :cry: I loved that thing... Anyway,  I'm definitely picking it up.

I thought the idea of the game seemed kind of boring until I played it and now i can't get enough. So yes I'm getting this game.

I own Guitar Hero 1 and 2 for the PS2 and I have two guitar controllers. This game is worth every penny. It is even much better if you have two guitar controllers to play co-op. I already pre-ordered mine with an extra controller.

I'm trading in my GH I and II on PS2 and buying GHII for 360 and an extra guitar.  They are the only games my wife plays.

I did not play the first. I hardly knew it existed for some reason. I definitely caught the hype of the second one. I held off because I wanted the 360 version. I have it on reserve at Gamestop. 4/3 can't come soon enough.
