I've been here a day and browsing for a week and I have seen this thread at the very least one hundred times with a different title. If you're going to make one of these completely unoriginal threads at least have an argument other than stating four reasons idiotic reasons.Face it, people like Halo and won'tstop liking it just because you think C0D4 is superiour and spam threads like these. I wish the mods would make an official COD4 vs. Halo 3 thread and lock any of these, it be so much better than having to listen to fanboys whine about how they think one game is better than another.

I'd be more inclined to agree if the weapon set in Halo 3 wasn't almost the exact same as Halo and Halo 2, with the only addition I can think of being a giant axe.

That being said, I like both games quite a bit.

I prefer factual weapons as opposed to made up ones. COD4 gets my vote!EnderSR388

im the oppisit, the needler is so fun and sticking somone with a blue grenade is awesome, the online mode has tons of playersandthats what makes these games so great. I will agree that halo certianly does have the lions share of children and some are amazing at the game. That puts my frustration through the roof when your verbally herassed by 14 year olds but hey its a game. Find a pack to run with, Play both there great and it is what keeps the 360 at the top of the list.

P.S I mean online gaming list. 360 Still breaks too much

How is COD4's matchmaking system genius? It mediocre at best... My very first game when I was a level 1 and I sucked really bad, I played with a bunch of 55's... how is that balanced? at least with Halo 3 matchmaking you play people of similar levels, and they fixed any problems with the halo 2 system by adding an overall rank to each gametype rank. COD4 is awesome but I've gotten really sick of it. Halo's weapons are way more creative and there is a lot more variety. Plus pretty much all gametypes in COD4 end up feeling exactly the same. Let me just say one thing... I've been playing Halo games for how long now?More than 6 YEARS and I am not even close to being sick of it... right now I've gotten really tired of COD4 after playing it for less than a month. Fun shooters come and go, but Halo has been and always will be a great game.

Call of Duty 4 - Superb campaign. Superb Multiplayer. Realistic Gameplay.

Halo 3 - Great (Less than superb) campaign. Superb Multiplayer. Non-Realistic Gameplay.

Just because Call of Duty 4 has a better framerate doesn't make it a better game. Halo 3 is a more epic game because it has been building and is NOT realistic. Call of Duty 4 (especially on veteran difficulty) makes you feel like you are actually defendingourfreedom because something like this could actually take place.

Both are excellent games that should be enjoyed for their own qualities... but if I had to choose one (never thought I would say this) I would give it to Call of Duty 4.

Multiplayer for both is great, but overall I prefer COD4 because Halo 3's single player story is major letdown. COD4 is amazing to play in single player or multiplayer...

I sold my copy of Halo 3 six weeks after the launch because I just didn't enjoy it. At times, I thought it looked too much like Halo 2 HD than the major graphical upgrade I was expecting. It's not all about graphics but....
