totally agree, last set is freaking impossible... after 5 strarring Cult of Personality on Hard (with first try), i hit the last set and fail every single song mostly at the beginning...
[QUOTE="ct1257860"]i got to the last playlist and i was playing rain of death ( i dont no something like that) and it got so hard like it jumped so much and im only on easy. The notes are flying at me sooooooo fast and then the fret buttons are flying at me. I get to near the end and i just cant do it , its TOO hard...Deominator
If I show this to my friends they will laugh until their stomachs explode, lol! My friends and I all play on Expert and hit at least 90% or more on it and we always hit 98% or more on hard. Medium and Easy are a joke. Those are the difficulties that most of the girls I know play on......just saying.......
wanna cookie? he clearly is someone new to the GH series.......anyways TC, i was on the same place as you, i never played GH before, what i did was practice on medium songs and then go back to easy and complete them all, you`ll see how much u have improved by then =) worked for me....i mostly play on medium....and im somewhat decent
You need more poontang that's the problem. More **** means you are better at the guitar. You should know that. Or it's that you are not using enough drugs while playing. You need to stick some acid in your headband. If those two things don't work, let me know. They tried to make the game as realistic as possible. In order to beat you have to really play the role of a guitar hero. Take some acid, get some poontang and tell me those notes are flying at you. They might really be, but it will slow it down a bit in your mind man.

Cuz they wanted to make it challengung
personally i find playing on anything lower then hard is extremly boring. i can do better on expert in most songs then on medium cause its just going to dam slow.

LMAO Everyone click on his profile name and then select his gamertag and compare his achievements for GH3, all he has is a 500 note streak and beat the game on Easy and a couple of other ones. Dude if your gonna go around bragging about your "mad skillz" at least beat the career on hard or expert first....

Because NEversoft didn't know what made the original Guitar Hero fun. That's all.
Playing Rockband made me realize Harmonix really know what they are doing and how to make a rythm game fun!
I feel there is a bigger jump in the last set as well - I'm stuck on hard atm. I failed Rain of Blood of a few times but I beat it eventually with only 3 stars and I believe I only got 3 stars on the other songs in the last set as well (I've 5 starred all the other hard songs but maybe 4 or 5 songs in all the other sets I believe). But then the Lou boss battle is just ridiculous - I got from failing Rain of Blood like twice to playing Lou at least 20 to 25 times with no success.
I will say I like the difficulty better in a way in 3 cuz in GH2 I beat it on expert a lot quicker than I thought I would have.

No, I beat it on Hard, Medium, and Easy. I do most of my playing in co-op at my buddy's house. And I'll be honest, There are a couple songs I can't beat on expert, but I'd be willing to bet that I'm better than you at the game.Deominator
really? man that's so awesome.. oh wait, no one here cares.

Skyfall, im sorry to say but your pretty much a moron. if you see a 360. And turn 360 degrees, and walk away.
Well, you would be walking toward it.A 360 degree turn is back to where you were facing.

Well, you would be walking toward it, not away. A 360 degree turn is a whole spin.

GH2 on easy was, in fact, too easy. I liked that they increased the difficulty of the songs. Raining Blood PWNS!!!!!!!
Why are you guys complaining about the difficulty? While I don't have anything against Guitar Hero, I think spending all of that time trying to beat the harder difficulties is fruitless. The South Park episode on guitar hero said it all; "if they spent all of this time practicing on a real guitar, just imagine how good they would be". Try learning Raining Blood on a real guitar, its actually not too hard, alot of other Slayer songs are much harder to play, though it does take some skill and practice. ScalemasterWhat if we don't have enough money to buy a real guitar?

ScalemasterI'll be taking guitar lessons this summer, but I will be still playing guitar hero, because it's fun. So if playing on the higher difficulties is fruitless. It's a game and that would go for all sorts of games? I'm not getting defensive toward your comment.

Better yet, what if no one cares? To people who ask me the same question, I say "I don't plan on ever being in an actual band, so what difference is it if I play fake guitar on a video game where I can hear the rest of the music or real guitar on a chair, by myself, in my apartment?" I dunno, maybe if you had a girlfriend who really liked guitar ballads, but then you'd have to learn to sing, and ugh...that's just asking way too much.
