All of my friends have a 360 and the games on it were better than ps3. So i chose to get the 360 because of that and i had the xbox so i can play those games on the 360. Plus xbox live can't forget about that one!
I got it because at the time i was waiting for the PS3 but it got yet another delay in Europe and i wanted to get a next gen system so it was either wait about 6 months for the PS3 to be released or get the 360 so i got the 360 and i will now get the PS3 later this year.
One word, Live! I don't think the 360 would be worth it without live to tell you the truth. Don't get me wrong it has great games but theirs just something about it that makes me want it.
Cause out of the last gen three systems I really enjoyed the first xbox, and I enjoyed what the 360 presented and really wanted to play Oblivion and did.. I still value the PS3, but for now I think 360 has better exclusives (Gears). I will get a PS3 later this year because of Uncharted, and I still want other PS3 games, but the 360 is my system for now. (hint: exclusive GTA IV content)
i was actually supposed to get an xbox over the ps2 when i traded in my ps1. But they had no more stock and it was the last day, so i had to go with it. But now i am united with the xbox again :)

they're console exclusive. anyway, i originally started with the original xbox but wanted to go into the "next-gen". i thought the wii seemed cool so i got one, selling my xbox for the money. it was fun, but i got bored after a few weeks. sold the wii on ebay for money for the PS3, had it for a week, realized how bad the online was and the terrible selection of games, so i returned it. went to best buy the next day and i came out with a 360, command & conquer, some accessories, and $150 left over from the PS3.

I got mine because I really wanted Halo 3 and Xbox Live. Plus the PS3 is just a plain NO. Now I already have six games for my Xbox 360 and i just got it on January 22nd.

I bought it because I wanted to make the move to next-gen I was tired of y PS2, Xbox, and GameCube. The PS3 didn't have any games I was interested in at the time and I just got Cable internet so I wanted to finally get into the online gaming scene. All in all I am glad I got it, but I've always been a multiplatform guy, I had all the major consoles of the last few generations and I am going to eventually pick up a PS3 here in a few weeks but I doubt I will ever get a Wii. Xbox and Playstation are all I need, Nintendo to me has been going downhill since the N64 in terms of good games that interest me.

Because it has the best games. I don't care about Blu-Ray or Wi-Fi adaptors or any other superfluous features the PS3 has. The games are indisputably better.
i got a xbox because PS3, wiis, and all the other systems suck. ps3 as hardly any exclusive games that arent worth **** the xbox however has GOOD online play, best exclusive and its not 500 F****ING bucks.
