A gaming system is about game, not stupid **** wiimote and nunchunk and not wortless **** blu-ray.It about game, that the best reason that i have choose the xbox 360.The online is excellent and the achievement point is a nice complement to the game librairy.More games, better games and ton of exclusives and more that are comming this fall including too human, gears of war 2,fable 2 and more as well as those who are already here including dead or alive 4,kameo,perfect dark zero,p.g.r 3,crackdown,dead rising, gears of war, blue dragon, mass effect, ninga gaiden 2 and several other that are exclusive.
xbox 360 is the next gen gaming system
XBL, The amout of good games, the controller is tight, everything that came with the system (headset, hd cables etc.), The accessories (chat pad....I use it alot while playing games), and overall the price was the BEST.
Xbox 360 makes every other system just FAIL! Its has awesome games, and anything with Microsoft in it is pwnage... end of discussion...
At the time, the 360 was cheaper than the PS3 and Nintendo doesn't really appeal to me, plus it was already out a year so by the time I get around to buying one, I assumed they fixed their hardware problems but I was still mistaken. Still I think It has the best games out there.
The price for the XBox 360 wasn't too expensive. It wasn't cheap, but the price tag was reasonable.
The controller for the XBox 360 feels better suited for FPS games than the PS3 to me. The XBox controller has those trigger buttons. The PS3 just has an R2 button. It could be me, but I like using the XBox controller for FPS games over the PS3 one.
The exclusive games such as Halo, Gears of War, Oblivion (at the time it wasn't announced for PS3), Ninja Gaiden 2, Fable 2. Also games like Lost Oddysey and Mass Effect were all games I know I would play. There were better exclusive titles that suited me on the XBox 360 than the PS3.
XBox Live. The online play is tops on the XBox console.
it was a decision between ps3 and 360 i was leaning to the ps3 cuz i love sony so much and the ps2 was awesome
but my friend was like u wanna buy my halo 3 xbox for 300 with halo3 so that kinda nudged me to get it. however i like ps3 exclusives better than xbox but w/e
Price, availability, and games was the initial reason for the 360. The PS3 is catching up, and the Blu ray does not piss me off like it does others. Though true, it is not, at least yet, a true gaming merit.
Also as an afterword of having both systems, the 360 contoller def. rules, nice peice of work, and the wieght is right. The Dual Shock does at least get the PS3 in the ring.
xbox live was so good on 1st xbox i had to have it*topic*

Thats the future of gaming Live!thats why there the best
man am i glad i went with xbox 360 so many games haha love it
It had more good games than the PS3, and I was still a bit annoyed that Sony tried to put out the PS3 at such a ridiculous price just to try and push their blu-ray format (even though at the time the PS3 was only $50 more). I felt like they pretty much turned their backs on their fanbase, thinking that everyone would just shell out hundreds of dollars just for the name "PlayStation".
Honestly, I often regret my choice, but I probably shouldn't talk about that here. I think the only reason I don't sell the 360 and get a PS3 is because I obviously won't get what I paid for the console, games, and accessories back. So I'll just pick up a PS3 later and have both.

The whole point of the wiimote is to change the way we play games... But I don't want to turn this into SW so:
I didn't choose it, I won it :D:D:D:D:D
Back a year and a half ago, around the launch of the PS3 and Wii, there was MASSIVE amounts of hype around the then "next-gen" consoles and I just couldn't be stuck with a PS2 and an Xbox so I decided to get one of the new consoles for Christmas.
To put it short, the PS3 was too expensive, the Wii was childish, gimmicky and not hardcore enough (it's still the same) but the Xbox 360 was what I wanted.
I chose the 360 because the day the PS3 launched at $660 I managed to get a 360, GRAW, the Live Arcade pack, RR6 (they were all free pack ins) and a free copy of Gears of War all for $450, which at the time was $50 off its retail price and an enormous deal compared to everything that had come before.
Plus, it had stuff like PGR3 and Dead Rising for cheap, when there was absolutely nothing to play on the PS3.
I still find that amusing, since that one store where Microsoft had spurred the promotion sold many more 360s that day than PS3s.
