I enjoyed it, I didn't play much multiplayer, don't usually with that series I just go for single player. Though in co-op on Insane, the boat level was verrrry fusturating because you could never see where the monster would land. Auto died so much.
I've never really been into the story for Gears...just the mutliplayer. So Gears 2 was a let down for me. Even though I played the hell out of it, it really frustrated me at times. The characters moved so slow and matches were incredibly laggy. Much rather prefer Gears 1 & 3.
I thought it was the best one in the series when it was released, but then they started tweaking it and ruined the multiplayer with all of the no shooting or melee directly after running or dodging crap
The multiplayer was broken. The singleplayer was forgettable. No doubt in my mind that it is the worst in the trilogy. white_sox
So true, I went from playing hours to hours of gears 1 online to never playing gears 2 mp because it was broken. Alto I still bought gears 3 I've never really got into the multiplayer, I blame gears 2 after that I lost interest in the game.
