My batteries only last like 5 hours then I have to charge it back up. I remember the wavebird from gamecube lasted like forever before you needed to charge the batteries.. Does the voice and messenger padtake alot of the battery power?

Are you using AA or a P&C kit?

My two AAs have given me a weeks worth of heavy gaming and still aren't at 50%

Yes the pad and mic do use more battery power but what you need is higher quialty batteries if yours last 5 hours. I play 20-30 hours a week and i change my batteries about once every 2 weeks or so.

honestly you should just buy a charger for 20 bucks...maybe less.... buying batteries is just ripping yourself off ;P

but they did tests and the 360 controller is suppose to last the longest on a charge so it's either your batteries or yourparticular controller

Something must certainly be wrong with your controller, batteries/battery pack or whatever you are using to charge them. I have a Play N Charge kit and battery pack. It usually lasts 25-30 hours even with rumble enabled and on average ten of those hours being with a microphone.

first of all get a plug and charge kit, if you already have one it means the battery is on its way out. and second the pad has a small light on it it rumbles when playing most games and if you play on live then it will be transmitting yor voice via the head set.

I use replaceable batteries, last me 20 to 25 hours of game play.
