why are there so many glitchers online? i've been in so many games where people have just glitched into walls and under maps etc. it's unbelievably annoying, nobody can do a thing about it, and it requires no skill whatsoever. so if you're one of these people who feel the need to ruin everyones game because you're completely unskilled, please reply and tell me why.

True but abusing them for the purpose of cheating is, I don't know some people just get a kick out of breaking up fun.

he said glitchers, people who purposely use glitches

ie. Gears of War 2 - shield glitch, CoD - hiding under the map

I personally know some of my friends, TRY glitches out, to see if they work. But don't use them after that. I played alot of games where I run into a team that gets owned on purpose, then right before they are about to lose they glitch the hell out of the game to win(some glitches I know my way around them, some like the CoD glitches are godly and there's no way to defend/stop 'em).

So it sucks, just hit the avoid player button and file a complaint. This is what online gaming has been like for years, I'm sorry if you're new to the online scene, but it's here to stay. Glitches, Rascism, and Singing Kids/Teenagers galore.

They find it fun because they get fun out of it, they get infinite amounts of kills, win the match, etc. which gives them good stats, which a lot of people are pretty into. Basically, it's just selfish, but they don't see the harm in it because, as I said, THEY find it fun.

Yeah, just thought I'd give you the real explanation.

Typically what I've noticed is there usually under the age of 14, saw a video of how to online, and think that doing its makes them cool. When they get there ass bit off for it, they kick and scream cause people dont think theyre as cool as they thought they where, and ect.

i have to admit that glitching does have its share of fun. I mean, i've obviously glitched at one point or another with friends or in a match where we're just messing out. but when playing competitively, i like to show a bit of sportsmanship. so the answer to your question: people think its fun. They're also the same people that jump out and run naked on the field in the middle of a football game or eat spaghetti with their bare hands at a fancy restaurant or, better yet, don't flush. in this day and age, online games tend to have some sort of experience or ranking system. There's that special sense of accomplishment and satisfaction that people get when they level up, and glitching only helps them achieve that goal faster.

i'm not a glitcher, so i can't answer your question of "why do glitchers feel the need to ruin games?".......i'm assuming they like to gain a lot of experience or whatnot without actually doing much...*shrugs

Maybe they just feel like by glitching they can boost stats and look good on the leaderboards. But as an XBL member whenever I see a glitcher/cheater/etc. I submit a player review (avoiding them obviously) and report them.

They get beat so much and so badly that instead of trying to get better they do the easiest thing to win or just to laugh at people because they're ****s.

Well before making this post im guessing you were playing cod5 on roundhouse where the competition is not to see who has more skill and can get the most kills, its who can get under the map first. The reason why glitchers do it is because they get the upper hand and in the end when it comes to online its whoever has the upper hand will win.

I only use glitches that are harmless; i.e. coop glitches and stuff, for fun. I do know MP glitches, but never use them. stickin them in the face is teh funnies
but yes, lack of skill is the reason most ppls glitch.
