Games on demand has the same prices you would buy them new. Games on demand games last longer and load faster. If the total amount of loading saved you an hour of time that would be an hour saved you could make $50 from working. Its also saves you space for when traveling by bike and in a backpack.Games on demand has that new feeling forever.

You could find a lot of places to go to that have them new and cheaper than games on demand.

Most of the games on demand can be found for a much cheaper price elsewhere. CoD2 is NOT 29.99 regularly. Just look around.

Loading times can be lessened by installing the game on to your hard drive so there really is no difference in that.

Personaly I'd rather have a hard copy of my games over a digital download.

Go on Amazon.com and compare prices. That's why.

Maybe because we are not actually getting anything physical when we buy the game. Once xbox live is gone and our hard drives are gone, the game is gone.

Games on Demand is overpriced for a number of reasons, but the more pressing reason is that some of the games they're selling on Games on Demand are more expensive than their physical counterparts. Considering that it costs them almost nothing to distribute these titles via the Marketplace (no manufacturing costs for discs, cases, or manuals) they should actually be cheaper. It's completely unreasonable for them to overprice these games for whatever reason when it costs them nearly nothing to sell them.

If you actually go out and search some places you can end up finding the game you want for cheaper than on GoD. Plus i always prefer having a retail copy in case i want to resell/lend to someone.

Also the fact that the manufacture costs are a lot faster, games on demand arent having to burn thousands of games onto discs per day. They too probably have like 10 people working the website whereas manufacturers probably have 100 in one warehouse...
