why do SOOO many people hate COD4 ??? (screens inside)

IMO this game is a MUST have! it looks so much better than anything else coming out later on in the year.

I also have heard some negative feed back, Partially because CoD has always been aboutreal warfare and some fans are worried how are they going to take a pure WWII based shooter and put it in a fictional warzone setting. Nothing to major to complain about it's going to be "AMAZING" any ways. I just hope we get some charater customization since we are not playing real people now.vgking7

Uh....I dunno about that man. Look closer. The dude's collar isn't going through the gun but curling around it. If it was going through it, there wouldn't be a shadow of the collar on the gun's wooden stock. As for the disappearing rifle butt, whenever you hold a rifle (correctly anyway) the end of the stock is slighty enveloped by the wielder's shoulder. The fact that the dude is wearing a baggy BDU blouse only adds to my theory that his coat is simply covering some of the stock up. Looks excellent nontheless IMO

Graphically, it looks awesome. But from the gameplay videos it looks pretty crappy. I mean, CoD and CoD2 at least tried to keep it fairly realistic. You never saw someone strafing at full-speed with a machine gun shooting guys a block away. But that's pretty much all I've seen from the gameplay videos. That and there's not really any recoil. I mean, it shows your gun recoiling, but your rets always fall back to the center.

CoD had some good gameplay and great maps. CoD2 had the same gameplay with weak maps. CoD3 lost it, I don't know what that game was. CoD4 looks like a completely unrelated game just made by the same company, hopefully they can bring something fresh to the table.
