Well if you look at the other game companys they are charging points to buy the older games and the special aracde games and stuff like that to buy and sometimes the others a more expensive

There are plenty of 800 point games that are worthy of their price tags. Bionic Commando and Puzzle Quest come to mind. Plus if you don't want to pay that much then don't buy the game. No one is forcing you.
Always play the demo before thinking about buying. While the Summer of Arcade did a good job of promoting some of the better games on XBLA, a lot of the content is really not worth buying.

This sums up nicely my thoughts on the matter. Some people need to be less selfish and cheap, they have no true sense of reality. Only "me me me".
If developers spend a lot of time making these games, then I don't see why they shouldn't charge $10... simple ports of old games should be $5 or less (which most of them are). I personally would rather buy MS points than using a credit card anyway....

Some of us are willing to depart with our money for games that we want. If you think XBLA games are overpriced TC, then don't buy them, problem solved.
If you think $10 for a game is too much, then don't buy it. Personally, I think a lot of the games are worth it, but I always try the demo out first to be sure.

What's wrong with $1 being 100ms pts? i don't care too much for the cost of stuff on there because I rarely buy them, but the conversion of MS points to US Dollars just makes things more complicated than they should be. it's almost as bad as the existance of pennies.

once you know how it works though it's not too hard to figure stuff out. I mean I agree it doesn't make much sense why they didn't just do 100ms = $1 but the only time it's really gotten on my nerves is when something is like 180ms, as that's just a real off the wall amount.
