why do they call it black friday?

???why dont they call it day after thanksgiving?? sounds more like a happier sound for shopping.

anyway are you gonna buy 360 stuff on that day or are you gonna stay home?

they call it black friday because it's the retailers' last push to get sales profits into the black (you know, black positive number, red negative number?).

That's the real reason but I think it's also a good name because people seem to let the a**hole come out in them and people can act horribly bad! So it has two meanings I think!

The whole point of black friday is to put companies in the poistive when it comes to income. For buisnesses ( I cant spell) black means you are doing POSITIVE /GOOD, red means you are doing NEGITIVE /BAD. The whole point of black friday is to make the companies get a positive amount of income a positve. TO gain money, not lose it.

Why after thanksgiving? Well, most people like to shop after they feelfat and stuffed from Thanksgiving :)
