Crackdown splitscreen would require rendering two parts of the city similtaneously...it would be too much for the system.
Geometry Wars for the Xbox 360 is 1.5 years old...how about you don't compare it to a game that was just announced.Â
In my opinion, playing games with friends is somewhere near the least fun you can have if you are with friends already. But that's personal preference.
They don't include it because they feel like people don't need it anymore. Which is kind of true. It's less used these days. Online is what they are focusing on.Â

Well..same system multiplayer is great for when I have a lot of people over... Since I can keep a good 4 - 6 people occupied with the system (playing/watching) and since I live in the suburbs, my yard isn't big enough for football. and my room can only do 3v3.Â
Because you no longer need real friends to play games. We're trying to kill off the amazingly fun environment N64 created. (4 peeps in a room jammin) At least my Wii still caters to having real people with me, in my house, existing together and having fun.... I'd just prefer to game with my pal Richard at my house than some kid named Emoboi335522 or the like on Live.... but that's just me.Staryoshi87Personally, I hate splitscreen....especially with numerous players. with such a limited field of view, things get ridiculous, and the sound is all blended together.
I guess this will be solved when I get around to buying an Xbox 360 Elite as well.Â
