Why are there games, like Two Worlds, which are on the top ten Xbox 360 games, that have no score. Are they just busy or does a game have to pay to be rated or what? does anyone have any insider info?

I dont know, they semm to just rate the games with the most hype, and the other lesser known games are rated later and you have to read them instead of just watching a review, in plus they were busy with PAX and other things that I guess there loaded with work and they didnt get around to it yet, IGN seems to always be the first ones at game ratings.

It takes awhile to put out accurate assessments especially for longer games

Maybe they want to finish the game before they review it, it's an RPG so it my take a while.

Being busy, length of game, and just getting the game in a timely fashion all factor into te review process. But I would like to see some "professional" opinion about the game before I risk buying it.

Well any game deserves to be scored no matter how bad it is.

I will agree that Two Worlds is not a good game. It is worthy of nether purchase nor rental.

The 'most popular' Top 10 lists get their stats from browsers. If tons of people are checking something about the same game, then the stat gets boosted.

I think it's just they have a lot to do. They always rate a game after a little while sometimes like around a week or two.

Gamespot has full time people that do nothing but review games. Its a commercial site that brings in Millions of dollarsof revenue every year. So they do have the time to get the reviews out on time, they just don't because they're workers don't appear to be dedicated to their jobs.

Really, your guess is as good as mine. GS is one of the biggest game review sites out there so they should be ahead of the curve in pumping out reviews after a game has been released. However, I do prefer quality over quickness so if they are just trying to do their best to bring out a quality review then that's fine with me but seriously, we're nearing a week now and they still have not come out with their review of the game.

I'm still waiting on their Blue Dragon review.
