why does the sith in Starwars: Force Unleashed hold his light saber backwords?

I think it looks really stupid. I never seen a jedi or a sith hold there lightsaber like that before. How is he suppose to reflect lasers when he has his light saber facing his back. If you think about it most of the time you get shot from the front (because your charging at the enemy) and thus you should your saber in front.

Also it is faster and easier to swing a sword if you have it in front. If you hold it front he back and bring it in front to fight you would be holding the saber wrong (try it with a pencil and you will see how it is wrong and how you can't really fight with it)

That's just the way he fights; personally I think is pretty cool although I still like the traditional approach as well.

It would be tough to beat him using a lightsabre like that though because he would be way more un-predictable...

I saw an xplay episode and he has it like that for more stability when he is running so he doesnt slice off his face while hes running.

to go into Star Wars uber nerdiness... who would have taught him to be a master in the style? Anakin didn't use the style at all... Maybe that is just the way that came natually. Anyhow, can't wait for the game!raahsnavj

I would of thought that Vader would of eventually mastered all the styles since he's like the uber dark jedi and he was pretty old by the time he died

And, if I remember correctly, when Darth Mauls saber gets cut in half, doesnt he briefly use one of them in this fashion?

He does indeed, he even does a flip/block in that stance, just remembered that move when I read your post. Afterwards both Obi and Maul do a flourish, god damn that fight was awsome!

Because it looks badass! I like it, something different in the StarWars universe.
