Why don't I have this? (Answer please)

In those green circles, there are events and stuff in there, but in my Live Blade, it has either a blank space or a link to the Marketplace homepage. How do you get it?

What I'm thinking is that you when you registered on xbox live that you put your age under 18 and that's why you're not getting those ads on xbox live.Private_Adam

Ain't that the truth. People always complain about ads when watching TV or listening to the radio, yet they go absolutely crazy when they DON'T have ads on their 360. Go figure...

 they can be helpful though, if you are the sort who buys extras like map packs but doesnt keep up on the release dates (dont know anyone of that sort though)

100% accurate.  You can't change it to get the ads, either, even if you open everything up on the parental controls. 

i live in canada, and i DO get all those ads...i_noseworthy

me too... and i cant see those pictures everytime theres a picture on gamespot in the las tmonth ive got those red x's in the top left corner, anybody know how to help?

It's either older live accounts or older xbox 360's don't have them.Flamecommando

I know thats not the case because I got my 360 for my Christmas/Birthday present (only 3 days apart), and I also got Live that same day. So I know thats not it

 But really, if I call Xbox Support could they possibly put them on there?
