why is GOW making my 360 lag?

during the cinematic sequences especially, and sometimes during play.  especially noticeable during the last fight with the big mean boss lady.  so what gives, and how do i fix it?

It always lagged for me during the cutscenes, but never had any problems with the actual gameplay.

I don't know how to help, maybe the disc is getting dusty or maybe it's scratched.  I'd like to point out though... General Raam is not a lady :lol:, the woman's voice you hear is the queen of the locust.

is there a cache i need to clear on the 360 or something?  similar to a defrag on the PC?  i had a good 2.5 second lag during the last battle.

I don't know about GoW, but Oblivion was lagging really badly for me and it ended up being a cache problem. You can probably find some directions on google if you do a quick search. Basically, you just hold the A button when the game is loading up after you turn it on. Hope that helps.

How is your system standing, Horizantle or Vertical? if it's Vertical then maybe try changing it=\
