Why is GTA 4 like not that good??

I dont understand how they can have there older games such as vice city and san andreas with more content than the new game :S makes no sense, tbh I wouldnt be surprised if they did this basically becasue they want to sell DLCs.. well they basically **** everyone over they cant expect you to buy a game then download all the extra content con-artists if you ask me I'll be sure to me causious of the next gta game if its on 360.

I thought it was excellent. The level of detail is immense, and the gameplay felt tight. Then again, I do realise that the change of game style to gritty realism doesn't bode well with everyone.

Personally, I think San Andreas was my favourite GTA title. You could get lost in that game for hours, just messing around!

But cmon no casino... no hourse betting no skate parks GTA 4 should of been basically san andreas content with an amazing upgradeEski_Boi

There is not doubt about it, the game is missing some features that San Andreas had, but whether that is a bad thing or not is up to anybodies own opinion. I personally loved the game and don't really care that it was missing some of the crazy things San Andreas had, but I can understand why people would miss it I guess. I just really love the story of GTA4 and the gameplay too :)Caddy06_88

Rockstar was in a lose/lose situation here and I think they did an incredible job dealing with it, which was make the game THEY wanted to.

If it was like San Andreas or the others people would whine about how it's too much like the old games. As you see with GTA 4 people are whining about how it isn't Vice City or San Andreas. They can't win no matter what they do, so they might as well do what they want. I thought the game was flawed, but awesome nonetheless. As a New York City resident, It's incredible how they captured the essence of NYC and put it into a game..
