funny enough after owning it since i got the reach console i last night just started playing it. Its ok Im not a huge halo guy but its nice to play something new and It has its moments

I am still playing consistently. It is the only reason I pay for Gold service so I better get the most out of it. I will buy the maps on the 30th and play awhile longer.
It seems most of the gamespot users are like migrant livestock. They constantly move from game to game, only playing the newest most popular title out.
Makes me happy though, I just got Reach from Gamefly last week and am just now starting to play a bit online. So far it seems most the players I've encountered in the Rumble Pit have been pretty cool, haven't had to mute anyone for screaming or playing music yet.

Not just the popular stuff, but niche games, semi popular ones, and hidden gems as well.
Probably because it left everyone who played it with kind of a bitter taste in their mouths, like..."hmm...that was it?" My friend and I played co-op legendary and were pretty much thought 'meh' of it. It's a forgettable title, and multiplayer that was interesting 3 years ago has lost its 'flavor'.
Because Bungie really screwed up with Reach. By making the ranking system credit based, they took every bit of the competitive nature out of Halo. This, on top of the terrible maps caused the game to die pretty fast. In Halo 2 and 3, people were always playing to try to get their highest skill up but in Reach it just doesnt matter.
